As Pastor of Friendship Baptist Church, I would like to thank you so much for visiting our web site. This is a new and exciting ministry of our Church. It is our hope and prayer that this will be a blessing to you. Through this web site, we hope and pray that people will come to know our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

As Pastor, I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about myself and my testimony of salvation.  I came to know the Lord as my personal Savior when I was 35 years old.  This happened after being raised in church all my life by Godly parents.  I went forward at the age of 12, thinking this in itself was sufficient to be saved.  Into my teenage years, I began to do things I am not very proud of.  As time went on, by God's convicting power, He began to deal with me and at the age of 35 I was truly and gloriously saved.  For a period of 17 years, I served the city of Bristol as a professional fire fighter.  I was serving in that capacity when I answered God's call to the ministry in 1982.

Since 1991, it has been my privilege to serve our Lord as Pastor of Friendship Baptist Church. We have seen the Lord greatly bless our ministry. We have grown from an average attendance of 35 weekly to an average now of 200 weekly. To God be the glory!!
